George W Leaves Today
 

George W was here in Canada visiting with our fearless leader ,cough, and he is leaving today. He brought his own limo and everything.

He must know he is well liked. His funny line?

I'd like to thank the Canadian people who showed up to greet me with all five fingers. |jester|

No president goes anywhere without their own limo and several cars, vans and suvs.

Send back the plane, the cars and secret service agents and you can keep him.

I thought the 5 finger line was pretty funny. I wonder how he felt about the war criminal protests though.

When you think about it, it makes total sense.

I didn't get it at first. I thought he was implying that a lot of Canadians are inbred or something.

I'd like to personally thank the Canadians for expressing their opinion.

If we did that here in the states now, under Bush, we'd be thrown in jail, or at least detained.

He had some nice things to say about us. It was a big thing in our province having him here today in the city of Halifax. A lot of people commented how funny some of his speech was. Like the NHL comment. He scored some points there with people.

I'm not sure if it made him any new fans but I think it will improve the bruised Canada/US relations.

That actually is funny. You sure it was W?

Oh wait, that's right - everyone who attends his events here is pre-screened; he probably was shocked and amused to discover there are people who don't live to name their babies after him.

You're in Halifax? Cool. Well I see you're actually out a bit. I was in Dartmouth for the whole month of July visiting my mother-in-law and my parents up in Kentville. They built a retirement home on a lake up there.
