Who Has The Most Annoying Submit Form?

Before I post my answer and get banned to high heaven
I want you all to know that I saying this in a light hearted way.

One submit form - which will remain nameless for now defaults to
'reset' when you complete it - every single day I have to redo,
if its late I do 3 or 4 times before I get it right.

Please share yours, prove Im not the only complete fook up on this board

Have you emailed them? Perhaps they don't know that this happens...

There's a site called "RDS Links" or something like that, he insists on 200 characters in the description or he won't even process your form.

There is no counter on the textarea, so you just have to guess how many words your at and re-try about 20 times to get it right.

Needless to say, I no longer submit to him and never will again in the future. (I know, I know, like he cares...)

It's the only form I've come across that is so ridiculous about a description.

I think second place goes to the sites that insist on proper capitalization of titles and descriptions, it's no big deal, but there are a couple hundred scripts out there that will automatically do this.

There are two sites (which use the same script I believe) that have forms that wont work under Firefox.

Submit button does nothing.

Gets me everytime.

I hate Linkster's, because the area for the URL's are not right next to each other, causing me to use the TAB button 3 extra times :D

I can't say there are any that I really hate. I submit to about 60 LLs and all the forms are pretty friendly.

Yeah, man. He tries to trick you. :(

I'd rather he just remove the *remove this text*. Why put it there if ya gonna have to delete it anyways? :)

Do you mean those sites that have a regular submit form, and once you have completed all fields, and hit the submit button, all they do is opening a blank email? I removed a couple of those from my submit list as well. I donīt understand why they have a form on their sites in the first place, when they require that you email them the site info...

I hate them all! They should come to me and get my permission to list my sites.

After all, I am a |newbie| and I know EVERYTHING!

.....and then I woke up!

Just kidding.

Damn - and here I thought when I copied that submit form from somebody that it was pretty easy to use LOL

The remove this text is an old leftover from the days when the autosubmitters didnt get around it - Ill be removing that

And Ill move the URLs - will be funny to see how many autosubmit programs dont adjust for it |jester|

Linkster, if you need a laugh, rename one of the fields... that blows their minds. :-)

What's really funny is when you change scripts, move the submit page to a different url, delete the old submit page, and you still get submissions to the old script.

Yeah- you moved the submit URL to, huh?

Remember it's not all autosubmits hitting the old page, but peeps who have it bookmarked to.

New page is now bookmarked and deleting old one. |thumb
