WTF I hate the phone
 

Sitting here working away and the phone rings.
I say hello and come to find out its a fuckin hosting company.
They ask about my domain and ask if I want hosting.
And of course they throw out the but its only 5.95 crap.
I guess I forgot to not put my damn phone number in the whois.

I regularly get shit in the mail from this company who wants me to move my domains to them. It's always a "reminder" that the domain is going to expire...thing is, they start sending them 6 months before the expiration and want $25.00/year for each domain. Suck my ass, $25/year. If I wanted to get robbed I'd go over to network solutions and get robbed by someone with some credibility :)/

I love those calls - I even answer them and lead them on forever sometimes when I feel like pretending I dont know anything about the web :) its such a satisfying feeling at the end of the call when they realize you just wasted an hour of their time LOL

well i did that telemarketing for 8yrs and was really good at it good enough to make about 25k a yr part time.
I think thats why i hate the damn phone so much.

I registered all my numbers there aobut a year ago & I've probably had 5 calls in that time that were from companies that I've never done business with.

It makes me so happy to ask them if I currently do business with them & have them say no - I then reply with a lot of curse words & tell them I'm gonna report them :D

I just acquired a cool little button that we can push when someone like that calls and tell them we do not accept phone calls like this. Please take us off your list.

Even better another line of defense... I hate the phone in general add calls like that and Im a whole new level of nasty and angry on the phone.

i try not to talk people on the phone especially when someone inviting for hosting. |goodnight

Caller ID is a good thing. If it comes up as UNKNOWN then I don't answer it.

I registered donotcall as well and get very few sales calls.

The big thing in telemarketing is the use of automated recorded "This is not a sales solicitation..." COCKSUCKERS.

I think I must have some kind of PTSD when it comes to the phone now. I worked as an emergency dispatcher for years for a company that had 100 plus phone lines. Every time it rings I expect a crisis of some sort. I screen all calls now with caller ID and the machine.

I have caller id but for some stupid reason I picked up haha

Wish I could find something like that donotcall here.. man everyday I get calls.. I simply dont answer the phone anymore... those that know me call my cell .. ya you guessed it.. and now Im getting calls on my cell.. AHHHH GO AWAY!!!
