Link List Owners Taking The Piss

Here goes my bitch for the day, if a site is rejected thats fair enough but there is trend starting to appear where Link list owners are asking me to post on boards that you have never heard of to get answers!

What figures? Today I got a reject notice, fair enough I thought nip to GG post the question and leave it at that, after all the owner met me here looking for new submitors. we had in my view a good relationship and understanding, even when his list went live and there was no need for a recip I provided one.

Now I am expected to post on new board to get the issue fixed to get a listing.

Right now I feel I am been 'blackmailed' / 'pushed' into registering for something I don't want.

Security Man - You met me here, ask me to list sites with you here, Traded links with me here - why why why should I go join another board when you hang out here??????

Whats more annoying is then I go another community and have to start from scratch - ie I become a newbie AGAIN!

Sorry if this upsets, offends of piss's anyone off but if EVERY LINK LIST OWNER did this then the communities we all opperate in will shrink and that my friend will be extremely COUNTER PRODUCTIVE.

I get spammed daily with new boards in ICQ, MSN, email - THIS board and its members gave me the time of day when otehrs would not and lots of help to get started and therefore this board has become my 'home'.

I cant do with GFY and other places and apart from using some UK specific forums. Yes I get it wrong on here from time to time and get my ass kicked but at least I know where I stand and who to listen too etc.

SM - your list has been good to me and I have been sending you sites for the past 6 months or so when you posted here looking for partners - do you not think it is a little out of order to expect me to shift my loyalty to another board?

Well all review sites, we all get shit loads of junk sent through everyday, but using your rejects as a way of generating traffic really sucks.

Anyhow I will get off my soap box now, I figure this is going to lead to me being black listed from submitting to you though some things just need to be said.

Let me know where I stand, I am happy to work with you here but I do refuse point blank to spread myself over numerous boards.

The notice is probably more for the people that don't know how to contact him otherwise.

Well, it's not really a "piss take" - I think most people associate this board with Link Lists, but not al Link List owners hang here on a regular basis, so they tell you where they are hanging so you can post if you need info.

If you have a question with a sponsor & they have a board in their admin or on their site, you'd post there, right?

I use Voldars board too for a bit but it got well complicated to follow.

The way I see is that if they 'touted' me here then this is where they should work with me - may just be me being an awkward git GG or maybe Im just too loyal |sad|

You should register with a hotmail, gmail, or yahoo mail account. Don't list your ICQ in your profile.

NochexContact, I really think you need to read some site rules before you try to make your sites fit the rules after the fact. This will be a huge time saver for you :)

I do and I really do acept that not everything will get listed Im still a newbie as far as I am concerned when it comes to freesites.

Wolf, maybe I do need a chill just this really rattled me, I dont have personal issues with the LL in question I just feel like I am being forced into something which I don't want to do.

To be fair to L A L P Ive never had issues with them in the past at all - I will register and post and get the feedback and put this one down tohot headedness - prob blacklisted now anyway |sad|

I would also like to mention that ANS is not using this as a way to gain referrals. Security Man has been a part of our community for years and just told you where to find him.. I don't see any "loyality" issues as I post everywhere but my home is easy to find.. |bananna|

ANS is a fine board with fine folks and I don't think you are going to get any trouble joining there & post your request.

Other than that, it is the same issue that has come up pretty often lately - if you want his traffic, you have to play by his rules, as much as that sucks sometimes...

nochex im on this board alot too, its just not my home board so to speek so it takes a bit longer for me to respond to posts here is all. its all good manno, if i post on a board asking for submits then i am a member of that community and i am around.

this actually came about after a big long thread on that board debating the use of rejection emails at all if you were curious... anyway post the url and i will tell ya what the problem was :)

BTW i dont have a blacklist (other than the one in my head for folks who submit tgps to me and such LOL) so no worries there ;)
