Note, I think the death penalty is wrong and don't believe there is a hell unless you count sitting in jail.

If they really wanted to punish him, they should have made him a gallery reviewer for the next 30 years. He'd be crying himself to sleep at night. I know I do.

Personally I think he is dead either way. If he is in with the general population with other inmates he would have been killed, or he gets killed from the state. I believe in an eye for an eye, personally.

I do agree that he was guilty.

I would prefer to die then spend my life in jail so I actually think death is not as bad.

Scott breathing is a waste of our air but I believe killing is wrong no matter what the justification is so on a fundamental level I think the death penalty is wrong. With all the inmates getting released due to DNA evidence there is also the issue and killing innocent people.

That aside I can't help but getting some satisfaction of hearing him being told that he was sentenced to die.

I've been watching Court TV, they are interviewing jurors. It's pretty good.

Oh so true Torn, I can understand the local news covering it becouse he's from San Diego and his parents and siblings still live here, The way the National media has been all over it is just plain sad|sad|

I've got mixed feelings on the death penalty. The hardass in me says an eye for an eye. But the moral side of me says who is anyone to have the authority to kill another? It doesn't bring back the victim(s).

I just remember being in the Bay Area at the time she was missing and the frantic intensity and false hope was everywhere.
