AdWords average ratio

Hello,

Can somebody give some info about the AdWords ratio. My first stat showed 50% conversion (LOL 2 impressions, 1 hit), the next thing I saw was 3 hits, 100 impressions (something like that, it was 2-3 weeks ago).

Can somebody tell me what is an average ratio, so that I'm not too afraid from the stats? And if you have nice articles about how to make a better AdWord, I'd more than glad to take a look at them.

Thanks!

The problem with what you are asking is there really is no average click thru ratio - it will differ on every word and every bid - Ive seen some that are 1:1 and some that 1:1500 and people make money with them - it all boils down to what you are willing to spend for a keyword (I know of guys that will spend $30 per hit) and what % of return you want - there are people that make a 5% return on their money - but they move $500k in sales so 5% is a good chunk
