Anybody notice a decline in Spam?
 

I used to get 300 - 400 emails per day.

For the last week, I've been getting 40 per day tops.

Weird huh?

Might be your ISP has a better spam filter, or the spammers realised they weren't making any $$ off you :)
Still getting as much BS as a few months ago...

1109 in the last 24 hours so about average for me.

Life has been good sicne I turned off all the domain emails except for 3 :D

I don't get spam.

Since I added Norton's Spam filter I would only get 3 or 4 a day get past the filter, but since last night I have had 30 or so, so I am wondering what is up.

urb, there have been a couple of busts in the US and a recent empty judgement for 1 billion dollars (the defendants didn't show, so they lost by default, which means no precident for future cases).

I have also found that hotmail is getting MUCH better at filtering junk, and with the increase in mailbox space, I never have to look at the junkmail to get rid of it.

Most of the spam I am seeing now is mortgage, pills, or phishing. Very little random one off spams anymore, everything is in VERY tight little formations. Almost no christmas spam this year, I have not been bombarded with the mini toy car / coffee / in time for christmas type crap that I got buried under last year.

I am wondering if incoming mail from China is getting filtered before it spews all over the net? Hmmm...

I went ahead and added you to a few dozen spam lists -- don't worry, we'll get you back up to 300-400/day in no time.

Ive noticed a huge decrease in adult spams, but the mainstream ones have increased up enough to make the difference.

I do get a lot of spam.. so prefer free web based emails.

They have awesome spam filters, I am not even able to reply my gmail emails but it is great for taking submissions and yahoo makes me enter some crazy verification hard to read if I want to send an email...
