Who wants me as a submitter?
 

Just started building freesites again and I'm looking for good link lists who accepts my sites, I'll be doing clean freesites promoting TCG and using thier free content.

Here is an exampel

I'd take your free sites if you didn't have 4 off site links on your main & gallery pages. |sad|

I don't have a problem with sponsor content as long as I don't see the same pics over and over.

Do you count " A production of sexties.org." ? If not there is only 3 off site links.

Yes, I do count that link as one of your off site links.

By your whois if I think you subbed sites before and if you want to sub more use your board name it more weight than a nobody|rasta| see my sig

Same here for the 3 out bound link rule but once thats fixed see my sig and submit away :)

Can I interject with a quesiton real quick?

I note that alot of link lists rules specify (as they have for at least 4 or 5 years now) that they want no more than 3 *sponsor* links per page.

It seems that alot of the more recent link lists still have the same rule text, but have apparently expanded it to mean no more than 3 links *period*..

Which is the more common do you think?

I mean, if I read no more than 3 sponsor links, I certainly adhere to it, but I'll also think nothing of adding a small tasteful link table to my own filter sites as I've always done.

Would appreciate thoughts and comments as I'm getting back into the free site routine here.

Thanks for pointing that out. I hadn't realized I had similar wording on my own LL rules until you mentioned it. I'm going to update that to mean no more than 3 links total.

I'm pretty sure that most of the other LL also mean 3 total or at least that's what I take the rule to mean. :)

Yep, noticed the same thing on some lists...not all by any stretch...but some.

Think the rule was originally intended to be 3 sponsor links. Then...as always seems to happen...some submitters abused things...throwing in WAY too many prominent internal links. So, the rule got expanded by some lists :(

Personally, I think if the internal links are non-obtrusive and tasteful...they should not be included as 'sponsor' links.

Fortunately, there are still quite a few lists who don't count tasteful filter links...cuz filtering can and does help sales :)
