i have paid hosting but i don't want to put my freesites on the same domain as my tgp. for me it makes it harder to tell how many visitors i get bacuease i use the webalizer stats that my hosting comes with and not those third party counters. and other domains that i put on that host will just point to my tgp. so i thought i could start a subdomain on my paid host but will it be listed?

Very few accepts sub-domains. Your best bet is to get hosting where you can have more than one domain or just use sub-folders and try to keep track of it somehow.
