Not just for that.... but it's a "mark against" the site.. so if anything else wasn't right... it would get declined.:D

DD, when you were open to submissions, didn't you have a rule about the size of recips. Thinking back to my tgping days, I seem to remember, that several TGPs had a rule like that.

Common sense would not allow favoring one site over the others in a recip table.

Plateman, remind the submitter that he will meet the same people coming down as he did going up.

As DD said its a mark against the site itself. That could be seen as a banner to a sponsor site by surfers, which would take traffic away from the webmaster.

I don't think I would list a site with a banner that big.

I would decline a site for using a recip that big.

I also noted that pornificent (great adult SE that is sending some nice traffic) and hoes (my number one fave LL) has a really small link on that site... Oh Smut Gremlins also pales into small text(nice srcolly thing though!) ... they must not be too important.... Richards Realm works well for me... but I guess i have never heard of super nylons... probably the submitters site... hope they get a few clicks from submitting this free site!

Plateman... this is a good recip table for you to be on... particularly if its accepted (which as you know it will be... it is a good clean site)

DD... not sure what advice you are giving here... but surely we should be helping out newbies and looking at entire sites... As link list owners we shouldnt be just stroking our own egos... but helping others along the way.b

The only time when i have trouble with a receip is when it not fits in a table, if i look at my newbie free sites from 3 years ago (and some i never changed) then i see on some of the mirror pages that i used also those kind of banners like the PK, most linksites had all kind of buttons and banners to use for the submitters that time, from big to small. My opinion.... as long the receip table looks nice i dont have a problem with it.|violin|

Actually whenever I see a recip to PK I'm very doubtful that she will even be listing it.

PK has a recip with a big Enter Here that I have declined sites for using many times.

The recip in question does not have a big "enter here"

I know that this one does not say enter here but it is the size of a sponsor banner. It doesn't matter to me that it is PK's banner, it is huge.

It's been a stressful submit week... due to the New Year it seems alot of linklist owners are revamping scripts, switching out recips and what not.. so Doc and I have been frantically pointing out changes to each other, making lists of who we have to remember to go back and submit to, etc... Add into the mix that alot of linklist owners want equal equity in the recip table, or have certain lists they want to be paired with... and you come up with some hoop jumping to make sure everyones happy so you get listed and are happy.


And that's just the recips!

But like Cleo said I have my doubts she lists many sites I see as she has a 2 site listing rule so how could someone consistently submit to her and be listed?

Actually you are probably right there in your thinking.

Whenever i see i recip to DD its generally an instant delete... given his nastiness to submitters on this board, I always guess it would be declined.... or if the recip to GG is incorrect... or if I am reveiwing for anothers site and it has a link to LF with sponsor content it will be deleted... If I am on the same page as a bad link to Cleo's... I delete. If any site in that recip table comes up as a broken link... I delete

I suppose like most link lists ( and I am sure, like yours) I dont and wont accept a site that others have rejected...

wasnt it something like : if you wanna submit an other site to PK you had to remove one of the 2 sites who where already in her list? I remember something like that...but then it was years ago i submitted to Pk.|violin|

I think/thought that was/is still the case Stu... I suppose us LL owners are making judgements now about what others have listed there... or what they are having edited in the listing

As a submitter i do care about what a linksite will list but there we have the ruleslist for on every linksite.
As a linksite owner i decide myself to list a site or not so i wont ask an other linksite if thewy would list a certain site submitted to me, that has to be my own decision...we have all our own rules and opinions but a submitter can never please all the linksites they submit too, they can do, only if they made a submitter list of linksites of who they know they get listed on ( mmmmmmmmm did a write a bit normal english here....i think i am confusing myself|violin| )
