Promoting my adult newgroup site
 

Hi guys,

As mentioned in the title I own an adult newsgroup site, a free one (the only free one on the web i believe), located at http://www.sexgroups.org.

The problem is that I have much trouble promoting it, do you guys have any idea where I can get listed / get a linkexchange ?

I can't answer your question, but I can tell you that your site needs an HTML declaration. This is yoursite in Firefox: http://www.maladaptedmedia.com/usele.../sexgroups.jpg

That's not me viewing source. That is what I see when I go to your link.

Considering you don't have license for the material on the newsgroups, I don't see how you can use it in a commercial venture.

I don't think you will get many links around here.

yeah, if your doing it purely for fun thats one thing, but as soon as you try to sale something off of that site you are going to find out your not doing it the legal way.

ive wanted to start a msg board or newsgroup but keeping things legal is high on my list of todo's so i have never done so.

Despite all that I certainly do like yer logo :)

Got the source code on firefox, too. Seems to be the missing tag. Though I think it should work without it, anyway.

I believe there are Perl scripts available that produce pages of links to the original messages on a news server rather than downloading them to your site. If you use one of these you are legal, because you are not putting the pictures on your site, you are a sort of search engine or link list. However I think you are going to need a contract with a news server to do this (although if my memory is correct, most news servers who will supply this service also provide the scripts).
