OK - I'll admit it - it's the little things that get me happy :D

Good morning from Sunny Buffalo, where Global Warming has us at 56 deg already with a high of 68 on the horizon and....get this.....THUNDER STORMS!!!!!

The record high temp in January is 65 on Jan 25 1967. The record for today was 62 back in 1972. Looks like both of those will be out the window later today.

All the snow is gone, so everything looks like a big muddy mess.

Of course, this will not last, as it's forcasted to go down to 29 tonight & a nice mix of rain & snow is on the way

It's is exactly our weather... interesting or rather weird I dare say.

It's flu season here, my sister has it, my neighbour has it... so yesterday at 7PM I started feeling a little sick, at 11PM I had a 39°C (102.2°F) fever. At 6am this morning the fever had dropped to 37.5°C (99.5°F). And around 9 this morning everything dropped back to normal and I feel ok again.
That was the shortest flu attack I ever had. Seems like my body resistance is still ok :)

All of upstate NY is going to become a mud puddle today and I feel fine. Just glad to see the kids back off to school after yesterday's completely pointless snow day. Looks like another busy, busy day of doing whatever crosses my mind.

I have no idea what the weather will do today and the sun is barely up yet so that's no help at all. I suppose I could watch the nightly weather but I prefer the challenge and excitement of not knowing until I have to go out... will the car have to be shoveled out? How many jackets do I need? Gloves, scarf, hat, nose warmer? Besides, when you live this close to the mountains, the best you can hope for is a somewhat educated guess anyway... seems like they're wrong as often as they're right.

I think I'm going to start a new hobby. Starting today I'm going to keep myself amused by watching the ocean level rise each day.
