Inktomi bot goes nuts
 

Findpics has been assaulted - over 10,000 bot visits in 24 hours. Looks like ANOTHER 8-10,000 already today.

If this keeps up, I am going to need another server just to handle bots.

Maybe they're setting you up to be one of those sites that get those killer "old style" listings for really popular phrases. |bananna|

I have stuff that was listed on Yahoo in 96 and 97 that still generates good traffic.

The bot is going mental. over 50,000 views today

The last couple of days I've seen a major increase in googlebots. Nothing like you're seeing Alex, but probably 100-200 per site over hundreds of sites.

I guess they're doing some major spydering, for whatever reason.
