I'm starting a couple blogs any advice?
also any links to adult blogs would be appreciated

mine is in my signature. Its not real money making but google likes it, and so its a small source of traffic for nefarious purposes.

plus it has a mild reader base i hear from sometimes :p

I blog nearly everyday for the members area of For The Girls.

Would like to do more but it can be time consuming.

I never read them but I do update my own. It's just there for me to kill time with. I try to write editorial-esque updates. No one cares what I had for breakfast or who I saw at the grocery store.

I don't associate it with the porn sites, I doubt anyone even reads it. It's there solely for me.

I would say yes,since thats what most are daily accounts of things whether its quotes stories etc.

I've been blogging for a few years. Advice:

Post new entries regularly, at least 3 times/week. Google likes that, and it adds stickiness.

Do link trades with similar blogs.

Sign your blog up at bloglinker.com and put their script in your side bar, then use it to get automatic reciprocal links with other blogs who use bloglinker. Be selective about that, though.

Syndicate your blog with an RSS file. Some of the search engines index those separately.

List your blog at top-blogs.com. They have an adults-only category that gets a lot of traffic. They do review submissions, however, and delete blogs that don't post real entries. If you throw up a blog that's nothing but pictures and links to sponsors, they won't take it.

Whenever you post a new entry, go to http://pingomatic.com/ and use their form to ping all the bloglisting services to let them know your blog has been updated.

I'm just getting into the whole blogging thing I'll admit, we've had kBlogger.com up for quite awhile now. We have quite a few regulars coming in now and posting their thoughts - some daily, others weekly and a few monthly - but it's all industry-based and very interesting reading.

I'm familiar with reading blogs; but, I've never really done one until now. It's fun. I've got two entries...woo hoo...a whole two entries, so far..and, I'll be learning how to run kblogger.com

I like the concept very much....getting inside the heads of others, seeing how they think....well, it can be very rewarding to many of us. :)

Agreed - I saw that PR come out too... it looks really cool - nice to have some blogging "dialogue" going on SEO issues. Really good move there - will be interesting to watch.
