100 GB BW/month - what do you suggest?

I just bought myself a great hosting offer, 500 MB disk space and 100 GB BW per month. I don't really know what I wanna do with it, I dunno if it's really smart to start a TGP or a Link List, I'm a newbie you know ;)? And are there other kinds of sites I could make that I should take into consideration?

Please post your ideas! |bananna|

Well.. it would be enough to buy 5GB /month for starting LL or TGP. I suggest you also buy some content and make some free sites (however 100GB is way to much especially if you are just starting, 10GB would be enough for next 3 months I guess). You can also make some galleries and post to TGP but it's not so easy to get listed at start (you may consider some prepaid listings)

build free sites and submit to Linklists

also try out tgp gallerys, concentrate on trying to get some partner accounts at some mid sized tgp's to submit to.....

Don't bother with starting your own LL or TGP until you know more about the biz. Use the hosting to make free sites and submit a free site a day.

Yes, build some Free Sites & Galleries, submit them & start up a hub of sorts, listing your stuff & some hosted stuff, but don't promote the hub until down the road once you have your feet wet :)

Build, build, build. That's my suggestion. Frankly, a new TGP is a waste of time for ever and ever. You are far better off spending your time on building and submitting than burying yourself in daily reviews and updates of other people's crap. Plus, 'watching the grass grow' comes to mind everytime you look at your traffic stats. Stick to making money without the hassles.

Build away like the good webmasters say! These days 100gig plans can be had realatively cheap, dedicated server even. Enough that a couple three signups will cover the cost. TGPing will eat up some for you. Free sites are a great way to go but they won`t burn too much unless you submit like everywhere.

My server is a bit above and beyond my needs but I like it that way and plenty of room to grow!

start with free sites - FORGET linklists and tgps - that is NOT the way to go. Build a free site each and everyday - obey all rules and work fucking hard.

I completely agree with this. :)

explain why it is so bad? many sponsors have downloadable movie clips and it is pretty common knowledge that video galleries convert better than image galleries in the TGP arena,

so it takes a little more b/w, whoopie b/w is cheap these days

he said he has 100gb and it will be not enough in near future :)
