google question

hi
is there a diverence between sites on .com .us .info or .biz domains for google??

cd34 2005-01-21 02:53 PM

I've never really seen much of a difference. I have always gone after .com names, but, I've seen serps results up there for all of them.

Getting hardlinks with the alternative domains might be more difficult as some people associate some of the TLDs with spam.

What cd34 said...

I have never seen any proven difference between TLDs

I think .com is better for type-ins so all things being equal I only buy .com domains.

for all SE: no difference between them.

so i can use for exemple my polish .pl domains to make site with english keywords??

You can use the .pl domains, but be aware that most of the large SE's are working towards geo-targetting based not just on hosting location, but eventually I would take an educated guess and say that they might look at country tlds as well - depends on how much what they call their "local search" catches on.
If it is written in English though, for now it should be able to play well internationally
