What is you avarage PR?
Hello,
I have a free site with PR3, which exists for about 40 days. What is the highest PR ever had with a free site? |
Average and max
Code:
mysql> select avg(cp_pr_history.google_pr) from cp_domains,cp_pr_history where client_id=1 and cp_domains.domain_id=cp_pr_history.domain_id group by cp_domains.client_id; |
And this is not a hub's PR or something? Is it possible to have PR7 on a free site? That would be nice
|
There are very few adult sites with even a 6, let alone a 7
Most big link lists used to have a 6 (like me, Richard, Tommy, etc) Now we all have 5's. We also have 2nd (main) pages that were either 5 or 6 - I think we're all at 4 now. They seem to be giving less & less PR to adult sites. |
my 7 was a drop that I was amazed when godaddy's backorder service actually nabbed it.
Stupidly, it just sits there and I haven't done much with it. :) |

my blog fluctuates between a 4 & 5. that's the highest ..my tgp used to be a solid 4.. with all the interior pages 3 or 4.. now i think they are all 3. Guess the googlegoddess got tired of all those outdoor tranny pissing pics.. |clown|
|
I have had only a couple of freesites make it to 4 but majority of them make it to as high as 3.

my highest wa pr5 on analbitch pornlist, now its got a pr4 (i dont own that site anymore since a couple of months, my highest pr now is i believe a pr4, still pr dont mean much to me anymore because i have pr1 sites who get more traffic then my pr4 sites :)

All my linklist site's PR numbers have done the same thing GG described too. |
Average? Probably slightly less than one. ;)
Like others I've seen my PR drop lately. Best I ever saw was 5 on main pages, the occasional 4 on some category pages. Now it's 4 on main pages and I'm happy to see 3 on category pages. But, fortunately, PR doesn't seem to weigh that heavily on rankings...I have some top positions that I'm rather pleased with. For instance, who wouldn't be proud to have the #3 Google listing for "tranny OR shemale 'seen on jerry springer'"? Yeah, I thought so. Eat your hearts out, suckers. |
My LL is a PR4 on index and PR3 in cats.. but thats the highest its ever been. Judging by how things are going with google as of late, I dont plan on making it to PR5 anytime soon. :(
But to answer the question, I think the average for free sites is about PR2-3. I submit my freesites to 40-50 LL's with 12 recips per index. The first one (with the 'best' LL's on it) usually get PR3, and then the second index gets PR2, etc all the way down to PR0 |
I just looked thru few of my free sites & most are 2 or 3 - there is one 4 in there, but that's on the domain's index & that page used to be a hub/FPA so it probably had a 4 before I built the site.
I also see I got a few of them listed in Dmoz :D |

Oh yeah - you have to submit by hand to Dmoz. I'd say that 1% of my sites get listed there :D
|
I've got a ton of Pr 5 and PR 4 sites but only a couple of them get a lot of traffic. In the long run, traffic means a lot more than what the Google Toolbar says.
|
...Dmoz
It's almost impossible to get accepted to dmoz, but it does happen. I'm like greenguy, I've only got maybe 2 sites listed in there out of all of them. Adult sites are scrutinized twice as hard as most and some of the editors are protecting their own affiliate programs and competitors so they will not add some sites merely if you have any competing sponsors on your sites. Not all of the editors are like that though! Just some.

I know someone else is gonna jump you for the overall generalzation about the reviewers - so Ill let them take care of that part - as far as submitting free sites to DMOZ, I dont believe Ive ever had one that was turned down (save one that was all hosted galleries LOL - and as soon as I fixed that to have some real galleries it was accepted)
You might be surprised, but the highest reason for not getting listed in my mind for most people is not reading the submit rules VERY CAREFULLY - things like repeating a word between the title and the description is just one example of not reading the submit rules - as long as you follow the rules its hard to get turned down. |
Oh Yeah - my favorite thing I skipped - WTF does PR matter? Its just a made up number in the toolbar and DOES NOT reflect "pagerank" anymore - and hasnt for at least 8 months - so why worry about something that doesn mean anything - that would be like depending on the listing of backlinks Google shows - which is also way wrong - get over thinking about little green bars and go get some real rankings in the SERPS - that where the money is - not in greenbars :)

-Linkster I agree, I stated not ALL dmoz editors are like that. Just some. I think some of them are honest and fair minded. Of course, DMOZ is a dying breed now. I'd rather get my sites listed in Yahoo but DMOZ is still a good tool at least for now :-) |
The highest I've done is 6 but its now 5. I also have a ton of free pr 4 sites.
Does anyone want exchanges? |
My highest was 4 for a single free site, then It dropped to 1 or 2 I dont remember exactly.
|
The highest I got for a freesite is PR3 and for my domain is PR5.
Anyway as Linkster posted, PR is no more important like it was. Neo |
