did you list the site like this http://domain-name/freesite/

If so, you should add the index.html at the end and try again. That is the first thing that comes to my mind.

Sounds like their script isn't finding the recip link on your page.

I uswed the full URL. I tried emailing - I figure its time to move on and revisit them at a later date

There's one link list that has a space in the field where I paste my url.

I have to backspace and then paste the url.

Not sure if this is the one.
