brav I am a little new to top lists and why does it ask for a banner size, is that for my link or banner on the list and how many referers will show.. And I dont have any banners.. I have a link site to trade with..

It is for your banner for your site to be displayed if you are in the top 25 spots. You don't need to submit a banner to be listed though, but it can help to draw extra clicks if you reach the top 25.

I have a top list... that is doing nothing... mainly because I have no idea what to do with it... So I read your post here and signed up... but then I see you will only accept hits from the domain that I signed up with (rather than just my code) and you dont accept other toplists (fair enough)... but... I have a lot of domains that all have nice traffic and I want to send you that traffic, in the hope of return traffic to the site I signed up with... but that is not possible under your rules... ok... I know I am confused here LOL

I guess I dont understand why you dont want traffic from other domains to feed one account at your top list.

Hi Kezza, one of the reasons that rule is in place is to be able to see how traffic is being sent, so someone can't just send a bunch of "popunder" traffic to get to the top of the list, meanwhile half that traffic isn't sending hits to the other sites on the list. We are trying to keep it fair for all sites listed on the list.

I do see your point here, I'll bring this up with Shemp, see what his view is.

Since the Shemp is feeding some of his own traffic into it it's actually rather good :)

I signed up last week, and didn't have a banner (yet), so I made one 'on the fly'!
I had my header graphic, which I re-sized and put a little text next to it = all it took was like 10 minutes!
Of course, then it was too large with 468x90, so I had to start again, but luckily I hadn't closed the un-saved PSP file, so all layers were still there - it took another 2 minutes to get it to 468x80 pixels - and I think for a quickie it looks o.k.

once again: why don't people put all required info on their submit page? Like the banner size in this case...

I do have it up there, beside "height" has maximum height, and beside "width" has maximum width on the submit form. I guess I should put it up with the rules too, might be more visible...

Seems kind of cheesy that you have to join your board to get on the toplist.

Actually it's not. This was all my doing and I apologize. I didn't realize that being a member was "mandatory" to add a site. So if you guys want to throw insults around and get angry throw them my way. MP and Shemp had nothing to do with these posts.
