Link Dumps and ...?
 

I am absolutely noob to link dumps, links-for-all and crap like that.
Just want to know how and what do you submit there? Is it ok to submit freesites, galleries, doorways for SE ranking?
How often? One link a day or one link 10 times a day?
By hand or with autosubmitter?
Where can I find the most complete list of linkdumps?
I saw tons of so-called bbs on http://lol.to and http://duvx.com
Do I submit there too?

I'm pretty sure you can dump a link to pretty much anything at most link dumps. If you build a database of them for your autosubmitter, go ahead an just autosumbit to them. They are the only type of site I would autosub to though. Would it really bother you to be banned by a link dump. Most of them are run my non-industry college kids anyway. Some post your link automatically, some verify them first. They're good for a quick burst of traffic, but I'm told it isn't worth much.

They are ok but be warned you'll find that some carry java byte trojans so make sure you have anti-virus.

Linkdumps are good for some traffic and SE backlinks !!!.....oh and virus HELL on the BBS's.
Aotusubmitters are OK in theory, but they will hang like a MOFO when they hit a site that is wrecked w/ a viurs. I will hand submit using a list on a spreadsheet. I will delete the ones that hang. BBS's are like the wild west, free and crazy. You will find CP on it like mad, some assholes even post they have it just to get people to look, when I post on all BBs's, I include a disclaimer that all of my pages have 2257 info and is legal. I also include a link to ASACP to report CP !!
You will get traffic slowly but surely from tLD's & BBS's. use ALL sources of traffic that you can get is what I am being told.

Linkdumps are pretty good for fast traffic generation, because there are not much rules to follow and recip backs. Everything is pretty easy to do with them. Their traffic is not pretty good for sales, but with PPC sponsors you could really make good money ;)

If this is something that is against the PPC sponsors rules, be sure not to do it, because they will catch you and you will get busted. So just experiment, but with legal actions only..don't do anything agains the TOS :)

kaktusan, sorry. I don't mean you're doing something wrong :) Just wonder what the best way to earn money with PPC and LinkDumps is. I'm not sure what PPC promoting strategy to use.

well, i am also not pretty much in the linkdump stuff..i just have knowledge gathered from friends and learnt from tutorials..just these days i started doing really something with linkdumping, wrote my autosubmitter and now started experimenting with different types of sites and sponsors ;)

I thought SE's would see link dumps as link farms or FFA type sites, which thought was "bad".

Guess a linkback is a linkback, but are they of much value?

I've had some of my TGP galleries submitted to link farms, and they haven't been penalized thus far.

Link farms are only malicious if it involves a large-scale practice of intentionally increasing pagerank by link exchanges. There are many other factors that go into what defines a link farm as a bad neighborhood and so on.

Was'nt really talking if it would hurt your site, guess was talking if they are of little value, not worth messing with. Course I dont know that much about them. Just look so much like FFA is all..:)

Ah, gotcha. I would stay away from link dumps, as they are essentially a waste of time. I did an experimental test, and it resulted in 0 sales, and wasted bandwidth.

Not only that, but most fusker bots scour link dumps, so I had to block a couple fusker bots as well.

I think this is what you meant by if submitting your sites to a linkdump would increase your SE ranking. It will not increase your SE ranking, because most linkdumps I've seen do not archive, and even if they do, the backlink quality would be horrible.

Do a search on google and see where your sites name MINUS the .com or.net..etc shows up. You will find a LOT of linkdumps if you have been dumping links to Link dumps ....I have a few that you can dump ANYTHING LEGAL TO....plus if you link to it, the referrer script will give you traffic back and a link for SE's
