So what do Window users think of this?

Apple has introduced iTunes for Windows. Free download, no strings.

For those that don't know it lets you listen to a song first and then if you like the song buy it for 99¢. It also makes CDs of your tracks or converts your CDs to MP3.

I like the no strings bit - trying to listen to music over a bit of string stretching from the US all the way to Australia is a bit low tech.

LOL

Actually I don't think that they have managed to work out deals with the music labels outside of the US yet so they can't sell music outside of the US yet. :(

I own Apple stock, yeah like that is surprising, so I'm hoping to see a nice rise.

From what I've been reading iTunes is make or break for Apple.

Actually they released their sales figures yesterday. They had one of their best quarters in seven quarters and their market share is up. They are expecting the next quarter to be a record.

My stock has been going up very nicely from what I paid for it. :)

Quote:

Revenues for the quarter were $1.715 billion, up 19 percent from the year-ago quarter, and gross margins were 26.6 percent, up from 26.4 percent in the year-ago quarter. Apple said international sales accounted for 38 percent of the company's quarter's revenues.

For the year, Apple reported net income of $69 million on revenues of $6.21 billion compared to net income of $65 million on revenues of $5.74 billion in 2002.

Here is a review of it that also has screen shots of it.

Me either,
XP is like a child safety cap for your pc.

It's my stuff I can delete it if I want too, so don't try to hide it... |jester|

I like Win2K, hate XP.

Well actually I like Mac OS X the most, but for when I need to use a Windows I like Win2K the most out of all the flavors.

The thing is order to use the latest software you are going to need to use one of the newer versions.

I have a bunch of clients that are still back in Mac Classic, but now with the new programs coming out only for Mac OS X, (or for Windows users then XP), they are being forced to upgrade.

New Photoshop will only run in Mac OS X or Windows XP, same thing for all the other Adobe apps and QuarkXPress.

I really hope they do something different with windows soon, cuz XP is just terrible... imo |pcsucks|
