Namecheap.com - Good or Baddd?

Anyone use Namecheap for a registrar or know if they're any good? I've had it with Godaddy and Registerfly I think.. and Directnic is still too pricey imho. |angry|

i have to say i am very happy with them. Never had any problems with them. They offer great support and fast. It would be a good pick. I also been with godaddy and they just don't have the right options for your domains i think.

It's my personal favorite.... I find their interface highly user friendly and I had no problems with 200+ domains I have bought thru them... :)

Stop the train... someone on another board has just had a domain pulled by Namecheap.com. Apparently they reserve the right to pull your domain and publish your information if your site is considered morally objectionable! :(

From their terms
Quote:

if it comes to Backend Service Provider's attention that You are alleged to be using the WG Services for purposes of engaging in, participating in, sponsoring or hiding Your involvement in illegal or morally objectionable activities, including but not limited to, activities which are designed, intended to or otherwise: (i) appeal primarily to prurient interests;
Also, Namecheap is allegedly just a cheaper domain reseller for Enom.com. I'm now having second thoughts about moving to them. :(

Directnic
Domainnamesytems
Fabulous
CWnic
NatNames

are all operated by well know adult biz old timers.. at very least you know they wont be less likely to help you with a domain like fuckmybutt.com ;-)
