What do you think of our hosted free sites?
 

These are the first ones we have made. Just getting a feel for what would suit you guys best.

These are templates, we will add different content sets to make best use of them. Custom text will be made for each content set as well.

if you guys see anything we are missing let me know. I value the input of this board in this matter.

I am getting little red x's on the thumbs.

The exit link is not distinguishable enough from the Enter link.. and feels like its on the "wrong" side or soemthing..

The rest looks ok.. like an average freesite to me... which can be a good thing for a hosted freesite imho... if they dont release a bunch of sites all from 1 template.

I actually quite like those sites. I can't stand the glossy, image-intensive crap. I think those will sell well as long as they're not over-used, as opti mentioned.

I had skipped over this thread since it asked about free hosted galleries.

Then I saw that someone had mentioned an Enter link.

These are hosted free sites, not galleries.

The templates look good to me BTW. :)

Hopefully they will have pics all from the same shoot or at least some kind of theme to the pics used. Also be sure to give each site a proper title and description.

ah damn yes hosted free sites...sorry i have been working on both things today.

By this, do you mean Free Site Titles as well?

Nothing worse then a Free Site without a title :D

The easier they are made for me to add in the more of them I'll keep on adding in.

I hate adding them in. It is about as much fun as filling out tax forms. I tend to try to just zone out and get it done. |potleaf|

If I have to surf each site clicking on a bunch of the pics trying to come up with a Title and Description it takes far longer and gets put off a lot.

If they have their site Title and a Description on the site that I can copy and paste into my admin things go much faster and I don't put it off.

If the sponsor gives me a text file with the Titles Descriptions and URLs pipe or comma delimited that I can just import into my admin I'm one happy bitch.

Back to what I was doing, adding in FHS…

your hosted free sites look good to me.

Definitely looking good - and I have to agree - there are many people out there trying to do the same thing with HFS as they do with tgp galleries with the flashy graphics and backgrounds - doesnt work for hosted free sites - as a matter of fact - the simplest designs with just text and a few small banners way outsell anything with large logos and huge graphic files.
Ive seen a lot of design companies try to get into this with designs similar to tgp galleries and it will not work on link lists.

They look great to me, but then again, I'm easely satisfied :)

Unlike Galleries, Free Sites do not need to be as "tight". The page can have some dead space giving the surfer a chance to find something to read and hopefully click. Too much bundled in is not as good usually.

As already said.
-make the EXIT link waaaaay smaller
-give every site a title like Molly Masturbating and have ONLY 1 model in there. Or Babes Masturbating and have 2 in there. The idea is to have a definite theme.
