Needing a Web Host?
 

Hey Evryone!
I am new to the boards and wanted to also say that I am new to the adult web. I just purchased my first adult domain(s):

PeachyPussy.com
PeachyPussies.com

I am in need of hosting. Being that I am a bit of a VB and ASP programmer, I need a good Windows host, possibly one that would allow Active X component registration.
Does anyone know of a web host, in-expensive but not cheap, that offers Windows? I have already been to the host search engines for web host and have found some. Theres always a catch though. DLL's allowed, no adult content though and vise versa.
Can someone make a few suggestions?

The host in my sig has Windows boxes but I think it is a mistake to use Windows for hosting but to each their own. :)

I used these guys for a while when I had an app that needed a Windows+MSSQL Server:

Without a dedicated box, it will be impossible to find someone to let you install DLL''s on the server.

Also, since you are new to adult, you need to be aware that your picture and movie content will at some point be hotlinked. There are some round about ways to prevent this on Windows, but unless there truly is a need for Windows server...you'll make your life much easier by using Linux/FreeBSD.

You will find that adult companies that happen to offer Windows hosting *usually* are not on top of Administrating it properly...lacking updates, etc...
