What's the deal with 89.com
 

I must say this is the most elaborate trap I have ever seen. Who runs it? Amp maybe? Very impressive. I am jealous...hehe..

I don't know the guy that runs it, but I know it's not Amp or anyone that any of us have ever heard of before.

I don't know the guy either, but he sure does spend a lot of money at google buying up key-words...

I will say this - after my little chat with him about buying up our keywords (greenguy, dr bizzaro, ampland, al4a, etc) he has stopped doing that, so he's making a step in the right direction - LOL

Did your "chat" with him include talk about taking a trip over to the east river? :D

Cleo - his thinking was that because he has a link to me (and everyone else who's name he was buying as a keyword at google) that it was ok. So when you typed in "greenguy" at google, 89.com came up on the top of the list. I emailed him & bitched - I also emailed everyone else who's name he "bought" & after talking to him, he did pull them.

Well that was decent of him I guess. I hate the ones that buy domain names in them with our names. Like if I went out and bought cleos-tommys-greenguys-bookmarks.com or something. :fu: That is just plain fucking wrong. :bfg:
