Hi...first thanks to everyone for helping me out so much.

Ok...here's the deal...I'm trying to get better conversion rates from my traffic and I was told that if I build a site like this one and my sales pitch was up to par that I should see better conversions.

I also read that when a visitor hits your site the first thing that they should see is a table to choose from several general niches.

Let me know if I am going in the right direction..if so what I might do to improve my tables on the different niche pages. I have no idea what the best options are for each individual page, what niches not to put together on the same page and so forth.

Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.

I assume that since it's on hub.html that is' your hub & that you won;t be submitting this to anyone for listing, correct?

The thumbs on the 1st page are really small - too small IMHO.

It also lacks any "sales pitch" & clicking on the links seem to just bring up random galleries that don;t match the 1st page of the site, so the site has no real flow to it.

They had some big function going on in Jacksonville... Supersomething or other. Many people were at parties for this event which might explain the lack of a timely response.

Yes this is soppose to be my hub. I plan to add all my free sites and galleries to it.
No I won't be submitting it. I plan to send traffic to it from my free sites.

So you are saying I need to make the thumbs bigger even if they are not clickable and add a sales pitch to the home page explaining what's inside?

Do you think the links on the first page should lead to a list of galleries instead of the gallery itself?

1 - the thumbs are so small & so spread out that they really serve no purpose at all - but that's just my opinion.

2 - it's your hub, so they can lead to whatever you want - just looks sorta odd with each one having a different set up for the page (assuming that you want them to appear that they are part of the same site)

Yeah you got a point...don't know what the hell I was thinking..I'm gonna have to redo all the pages to give it some continuity. Ok thanks for the input...appreciated greatly!

GG is right, get rid of those small thumbs.

Build a couple of bigger thumbs, maybe 6 for the beginning. Use niche specific thumbs to tease the surfer clicking it.

You can lead them to niche specific sponsors, better to niche specific freesites of your own, I think.

Don´t use galleries, build niche specific freesites. Link to your freesites using a targeted fpa. Build an own fpa, don´t use a sponsor fpa.

Put a small table of sponsors on top of the site.

And get rid of this annoying link to the counter. Many surfers will think it´s a link to your categories.

Ok...I got my thumbs in place. I dont have niche specific freesites for teens yet so I linked them to my sponsors.

So now...Are you saying that each link on the general niche table at the bottom should lead to a page with a FPA to sponsor and a link to my freesite? Can you clarify what you mean please?

Also small table of sponsors should go over thumbs on main page?

I know I'm a pain...but I really do appreciate your help very much. I want to learn how to make a hub site that makes money . I read a lot here at this board and it's really helpful.

The beauty of a hub is that you really can do whatever you want on it, since it's all your own traffic coming in - so the FPA idea is probably a good one.

I like the thumbs a lot better now too :)

The thumbs shall help the surfer to choose the niche he likes (or maybe the girl he prefers), so those thumbs can lead directly to the sponsor, but I would use at least 150x150 px thumbs.

and maybe it is a good idea not to use the site´s name but a teasing and descriptive headline instead.

You can hide your affiliate code with this one:

The table with the links to your galleries is set to 100%. Reduce it to 600px width and put those links in a different order, so the table looks much better in my opinion.

Those links on that table should go to an fpa, not directly to the freesite or gallery. So there is a better chance to sell porn to the surfer.

And if i were you, I would build some freesites around it instead of galleries.

Yes, thumbs are much better now. And I´m afraid there isn´t only one way to build a good hub. You´ll have to try what will work for you.

The fpa thing is doing well for me, but I have to admit that it wasn´t my idea, it´s from one of vnwr´s newbie projects. Always worth reading. |pimpin
