Using sponsors content

Each sponsor provide free content as a marketing tool, of course to promote 'his' sites ONLY. And webmasters do that - by submiting free sites promote particular sponsor on gallery pages but I noticed many webmasters promote other sponsors at index and main page... Personally, I think this way they are cheating sponsors as index and main page couldn't not exist without galleries. What do you think? Do you list such sites?
I'm not gonna list any urls here but I've seen many (I belive new) webmasters doing that

To me, the sponsor wins either way. First, they are the main program promoted on the site, or should be. Second I have yet to see sponsor content that does not have urls on it. The sponsor wins big time because their url is there every time the surfer looks at the pic. And how often do surfers just type in the sponsor url off the pic, by-passing the webmasters, which is less the sponsor has to pay out. The webmasters are doing the majority of the advertising for the sponsor, either through ads or pic urls.

Honestly I think the sponsor gets the better end of the deal.

I will not list sponsor content... just wanted to get that out of the way first :)

My feeling is... if on a gallery, you have sponsor content, then only that sponsor should be advertised... but on the index and main of the same site... where the content does not exist... promote what you like!

That's how I feel too. The index and main pages are mine to do as I wish, though I honestly don't often attempt to market a secondary site on a free site. I try to put all of my efforts in to marketing that one sponsor who was generous enough to give the content to use.

Yep, i was talking about it with one sponsor and he told me that, you can advertise anything on your index and main page, but you must link to his paysites at galleries.

What sponsor said that? Look below ;)

When I make a free site, I feel it is counter-productive to try and say this is the best... then hit the surfer with something else... so I only ever have one sponsor site! And if they are good enough to provide content to support the site... ahhhh even better!
