Travelling Webmaster - will it cause problems submitting?
 

Hi All,
Long time lurker, first time posting.

I travel for my 'real' job and get internet access by various means at the hotels I virtually live in for a few days at a time. I sometimes have to use aohell dialup, other times the hotel has high speed via LAN or wireless, and sometimes I am at home on my own satellite internet.

My question is, will this cause problems while submitting? More to the point, is it possible I'll be blacklisted when I'm noticed submitting under various IP's, but using the same username and e-mail? I've seen threads here and in other forums where IP #'s were talked about, also proxies. By my understanding my IP will change all the time depending on where I am, and I have no real control over whether I am using a proxy or not. (correct me if I'm wrong)

Second question - I've noticed most link lists do not allow sponsor hosted galleries, a few do, though it is usually pretty clear in the rules whether they are allowed or not. Perhaps this should be in the TGP thread, but I'm on a roll |bananna| If a TGP (or link list) does not have in the rules that they are prohibited, does that necessarily mean they are allowed?

1 - I'm not gonna say that the IP thing will or won't cause problems, but I don't think I'd have a problem with it.

2 - I can't think of any legit TGP or Link List that would let you submit a hosted site or gallery with your code on it when they could just get an account & post it with their own. As a general rule of thumb, never submit anything that's sponsor hosted.

The ip number shouldnt be a problem

Nobody is gonna let you submit hosted gallerys
how were you planing to add the recips

With a free site, recips would be on my own index/warning, then a main page with a couple of links and then links to the galleries. I have found a few smaller link lists that allow this.

For TGP's, just the ones that don't require recips of course. Again, I've found a few who say this is ok. I think they are fairly new and just looking for galleries to fill their pages. Why they don't just get their own affiliate codes and list a bunch of hosted galleries I don't know. It makes me a bit skeptical about posting my sites there, but since they are hosted galleries I don't have to worry about my bandwidth I suppose. I really haven't decided if I'll bother with it since I'd rather build my own sites front to back anyway.
