I'm starting to get psyched for Survivor tonight |bananna| And I'll be following it up by watching The Apprentice & ER afterwords - good old Thursday TV :D

I will be scarce for most of the day - my mom is going in for surgery today :( She has a benign mass somewhere near her stomach (I don't know the technical term for it's location) It's supposed to be a 4 hour surgery, which is sorta scary I guess. I'm going to bring my laptop with me, but I have this feeling that the hospital won't have wireless - so I'll write up an article or something stupid like that :)

Just another day of sunshine, naked bodies, weed, coffee, and head pounding techno dance music at the Cleo estate today.

Guess I should actually drink this coffee on my desk and become somewhat coherent.

My friend that bought her first computer is driving me fucking nuts. I really think that there are people in this world that will just never learn how to do even basic things on a computer. She came over yesterday with a list of questions that were basically the same list as last time she came over. Ever time I try to show he something she just starts talking about screen aspect ratios and other hardware things and just doesn't seem to be interested in the software and how to use it.

Another beautiful day here with a high in the eighties. I may go for a bike ride down to the beach this afternoon and enjoy it. :)

At least the sun is shining out there. Not that that will help much in here, but it is definately bright outside. Maybe I should work from the beach today. Oh wait, I don't live in Florida. I live in a frozen waste land.

My daughter woke up vomiting during the wee hours last night. Lucky for her, I was already awake. Here's a little knowledge to start your day with. If vomit is the color of mud - it's the Oreo's fault.

Morning all, I am formatting my laptop today; I backed everything up last night so I will be starting in a few minutes. I have wanted to do this for a while but the timing was never right.

This thing has slowed down so bad it literally took 2 mins from the time I clicked on the icon to open word last night and on ICQ I was typing faster then the words would appear on the ICQ.

I tried all my virus checks and nothing is found, I've defrag the hard drive, and cleaned the disk and what ever else I could think of, so this is the next step.

Nothing worse then waiting minutes for a program to open that should take 5 seconds the most.

Hopefully I'll be back in a few hours; I have 2 other pcs to surf with so it shouldn’t be too bad....

The irony of this is it locked up on me last night when I was backing files up and I had to hard shutdown, I have my pc on the “silver” theme instead of the “windows blue” and when it rebooted it was in “windows blue” and now it is loading/working as fast as it should be, but fuck it, I’m still doing it.

Happy thursday everyone. GG, i hope everything works out well with your mom, I am sure that you being there will help lend some strength! :-)

I have a bunch of things to do today, including having to replace the audio tracks on some videos I am editing because the background noise is too high (loud hum). It takes a while to get filters and all right, and then to align everything and finally to render the results. A short editing job sort of turns into a ton of work... it's the nature of that end of ther business, I guess.

Anyway, I will be scarce most of the day as a result.

Hello from the waiting room at Mercy Hospital - I don't know what Sip & Surf is, but it's the best $5 I ever spent :D

They took my mom in around 1 so we should have news around 4 or 5.

Now if I can just get this old lady in the seat 3 down from me to move so I can use the plug next to her, maybe I'll get some work done before the battery dies :D

Maybe I'll sort content - no ads, just pages & pages of porn for people looking over my shoulder to enjoy........

Still can't get my wireless working so I moved to other things, I got most of the things running, but this time my email settings didn’t save, but all my emails did, so I had to redo all my accounts and now my "rules"...damn I had like 50+ rules...last time they all saved and it took less then 1 min to get it on. |pcsucks|

Anyway, I will be working on this for the rest of the night…. |dizzy|

I'm home - Mom is doing just fine - they took a golf ball sized mass out of her bowl & they said things went perfect.

I'm off to watch Survivor :D
