How come my site keeps getting rejected from Adult Sex Sites
 

I submitted the first time and didnt realize I forgot the 2257. I resubmitted with the 2257 and was still rejected. I am very new to this but I try hard to make them look nice.

This page asks to set a cookie.

The ENTER link and the sponsor link right below it are too similar in their wording imho.

The top link mouseover says "click here for ifrends.net". On free sites, I prefer to just use the base domain url :"http://www.ifriends.net/"

I guess you're using javascript for those ifrends banners (for clicktracking/banner rotation?). I would get rid of that replace it with HTML.

The bottom link needs a mouseover.

You have 4 sponsor links, many LL's will only accept 3.

Halfdeck thanks for the tip. I am very new to this still. That is my 3rd free site I have built. They sent me a email stating it was rejected because I was missing the 2257 info. But its on there. I will check on the other issues you mentioned. Its all still a little confusing |banghead|

Yeah, you can't use that java and cookie crap on a free site. At least not at most places.

Looking at you recip table and I see that you are submitting to GG's webcam category, to Smut Gremlin's movie/cam category, and Adult Sex Sites' cam category. What makes that site a webcam site? Also, I'm getting a minor horizontal scroll on gallery one.

as U W said that site really doesn't belong in the webcam category (link lists lists sites according to what the content in the galleries is, not what you are advertising) and the full size pics are pretty big files (over 100k) which some (not all) link lists will decline you for because they take way too long to load for surfers using dial-up connections... it is always a good idea anyways when giving away free porn to shrink the file size down to save bandwidth and have the samples load fast enough so that the surfer gets excited and wants to see more :D

Hi guys, thanks for all the info. I am a bit confused over here. So I need to make my pics smaller and I cant list it as a webcam site. Even though it is a webcam site but I am not using webcam pics I need to list it as just lesbian. This is only my 3rd site so its all still very new.

hi sugarpie, we are just giving some tips that might help you get listed at more places, link lists have lots of different rules and it can get frustrating at first but don't worry that is why this forum is here.... did Adult Sex Sites give you a specific reason that your site got rejected? maybe we should start over to try and help you a bit more ;)

Hi Kinky, Yes they said I didnt have my 2257 on the site, which at first my bad I forgot to put it on there. I put it on there and resubmitted but they sent me another reject email saying the same thing that the 2257 wasnt on there, now I know its there unless I am seeing things. heh heh. Thanks for the help.

well I see the 2257 info so that is probably not the problem but the reviewers don't always have time to explain every rejection because they are busy people... let's start with your site title... it might cause you not to get listed because there is no live lesbian content or webcam pics on your site, your site title should describe the content of your galleries a little bit if possible... and as I stated before link lists list site according to the content of your galleries, not what your ads are advertising... title your sites something like "nipple licking teen lesbians" so that when a surfer clicks on your site they actually see what they expect :D PS: did any of the other link lists that you submitted to list your site? a few of the owners of those sites are members of this board and could help you out too (Greenguy owns Link O Rama and is the master of free sites |bow| )

actually I just checked on Adult Sex Sites submit page and the problem with your 2257 page is that it does not have the custodian of records listed on it, just a compliance statement, that might be the first problem, and once the reviewer finds a problem that will cause the site not to be listed they don't even look at the rest of your site :D hope i'm helping you out a bit and not just rambling on |thumb

Kinky, yes you are helping me out. Yes I have been listed with the site. Actually greenguy listed it as well. But I am not going to let that one site bother me anymore. I will just simply take their recip off and try out another one. I really do appreciate all your help. I will see you around the board here. I really like this board, everyone is so nice so far. :)

cool I don't want to confuse you any more than you already are :D and changing out recips and trying someplace else is a good idea there are plenty of link lists to submit to... try some other places and as you learn the ins and outs of free sites you can try submitting to those sites again and see if they list you |thumb some places are a lot harder to get listed at then others GOOD LUCK
