They are not bad but not really that good.

Getting listed? Not sure.
Many sites do not like banners and 3-4 lines of text between the thumbs. There is no design so you are competing with other webmasters for spots and with no real design I doubt you'd get a listing. Another factor is getting listed is hot thumbs and pics and those thumbs and pics are ok, but that's about it.

Right... I plan on building some with my "Hot Girls" but right now I have all these free pics to use that my photographer shot and didn't know what to do with. He signed Model Releases with all these girls and said hey if you can use them for promotion let me know.. so I figured I use them to do some sign promotion.. you are right they definatly aren't the hottest girls around... I have like 2,800 pics with like 8 chicks... so I figured I'd get these TGP sites built with that, get them submitted some places then work on a few more with the models I'm working with now which are smokin.. ;)

I'm not talking about the girl being hot. She's fine. I mean the thumbs are plain and the design is plain. It is important to have good thumbs that are clear to get listed and to increase sales and click thrus too.

I tend to prefer a more amateurish style of design, such as the example. It tells me that the submitter is at least building his/her own galleries. I'm not sure how well it would sell a big flashy mega-site, but it may be the way to promote an amateur site. Of course, you should be using pics of Cathrina in order to promote Cathrina.

The content in those galleries would probably work well at producing click-thrus to a dating site where you are attempting to convince the surfer that the model is a 'real' girl who he could meet and bang. I tend to think that less-than-pro quality pics work well for stuff like that. Anything with less than perfect lighting and a less than perfect chick who looks like she was given a couple beers by her boyfriend in order to convince her to get naked for his camera is good for promoting sites where the goal is convincing the surfer that what he sees is reality. Damn, that was a long sentence.

I agree they definitely aren't great, graphically, but it's simple anyway. The first was worse for me. Pics just seemed all over the place. Generally I would tend to agree on the banners and definitely the text. Try to keep it to a line if possible.

Also, just personal preference, set border=0 for your images. Just doing that should increase the look.

If you're interested I'm looking for some submissions right now. If you go to http://www.thumbometer.com/add.php you can submit them and I'll let them through.

I might upset you, but I think they're terrible compared to most submissions I'm getting. And before I went Password only I would have looked at these and thought "another guy who will redirect to pop-up/dialer hell" - just because by now it's hard to convert with this sort of galleries...

Galleries don't have to be heavy on graphics [like most are now] to sell, but some sort of structure and formatting certainly helps! I think a simple gallery might actually sell better... Thats why the wise guys at WC3 gave us table tags and CSS to make things fit into a neat lay-out without too much graphic stuff.

Correct spelling and grammer helps, too (unlike things like "My Friend Are This Way >>>" singular or plural? make up you mind!)... If I see bad grammar I think automatically "another russian cheater" - just from bad experience.
