I dont think DD is real, I think its all a fabrication to keep us all on our toes hoping that maybe one day we get a iste there :-(

On a serious note if the guy is getting like a trillion sub's per day and is already making a living then theres no way hes gonna increase his work load.

Who knows maybe when we are all on like 50 million posts we may get the invite until then its best to forget about it and let him/her (never been sure with Aussies, only way I can tell the difference is the blokes spit further ;-) ) chuckle over us mere wannabies.

I even tried bribing him with a 4X - we live an learn :-)

From what I've seen in the past year, DD is the kind of guy that has put in his time into this business. He knows that a number of "noobs" are fly by night and that eventually, they will disappear or fall by the way side.

Now put yourself in his shoes. He has his faithful group (I believe its about 12-24 people, maybe more or less) of regular submitters. These regulars submit to him if not every day then every second day, I am certain of this.

He runs a quality linklist and has earned the right to dictate and operate by whatever means he sees fit.

Let's say for some reason or another, you decide you no longer want to do this business. You move on. Life is like that. Who cares, right? Wrong.

Danger Dave cares. He does NOT want to see dead links or blind links for whatever reason. Period. He has developed quite an international following I'm sure and the last thing surfers want to see is dead or blind links, cookie cutter sites and most importantly, cheats.

I don't think I have ever had a site accepted at danger dave's. One day a long time ago, DD & JK from JK's porn told me they would never list me because of my poor attitude. I deserved their wrath - at theat time.

Even though I was out of line, both of those guys STILL gave me good, sold advice: Work hard, build and submit EVERY DAY & maybe one day, they may re-consider.

Even if they don't re-consider, the point of their message got through to me loud and clear: Take this business seriously, or get out.

DD states this - submition is by invite only - period I don't think it can be much clearer then that.

Yep the guy prob has worked hard on his LL - What do you think the rest ofus do all day sit and twiddle our thumbs and gaze up to sky saying DD come get me.

OK right now I am in DD's shoes, I 20 sites a day to review, all from regular people which makes it 50 times faster as you know you can trust the work to be of a good standard thus leaving me more time to work on other projectsthrough the day.......I liked DD shoes, a little big for me though they were FAR more comftable then mine.

DD cares......people who don't 'care' fail thats a fact, as for the rest of this statement is just pure assumtion the web is global so its fair to say that his traffic is very very likely to come from around theour lovely planet.

What I cant figure out mate is why you have made such a big post boosting someones ego who plainly has told you hes happy to help ya but you aint getting listed, we have all tried we all get told the same thing.

Whats is REALLY important to understand here is that hes not the only LL out there and when one door closes the another one opens.

As for taking things seriously well this is how I make my living I netowrk dam hard on the EU front at trade shows and prob do enough hours to bring home a high wage is I was flipping burgers or the same amount of my time pro rata.

Do I like DD? - No idea never met the guy

Do I want to get listings with him - Yep coz I'd be fucking stupid not to want to get my sites linked up on his network.

Will I even get the invite - Yep I believe so, though I doubt it will happen this side of 2010.

Heres one other thing for you - I know a lot of programme owners,one in paticular had nothing about 14 months ago, no money for food no fuck all.

He came to my home we smoked some weed and got talking - I realised really quickly he was getting 'sucked into' this so and so showed me their stats, so and so showed me their massive car, so and so showed me their massive house.

I took me about 3 fucking hours to sort his head out and explain so and so lives in the USA and in the USA everything is big and space is not at some much of premium, my point is this the other side of the fence is always greener and though until YOU have tried and tested it its just a myth and its best to treat it that way.

Applying this to our debate - DD until you have listed there and tried it out is just a myth, personally I don't chase rainbows fight the battles you can win my son and your business will flourish, set to many impossible targets / goals and you will fail.

Right Im off my soap box - I got sites to submit to all the rest of the LL owners who don't care, don't give a shit about their biz, Are not bothered about blind links........

My post was NOT an attempt in any way shape or form to get you to turn your misguided rage towards me.

How about you grow up, put the weed away for a while and concentrate on being a disciplined adult webmaster as well as being an adult. Have you thought about that?

I'm not about to sit here and read how insulting you are towards me or anyone else for that matter.

I could care less if DD/JK or other's don't list either of us. There are plenty of fantastic linklists on this planet operated by bright, progressive minded individuals who haven't forgotten how hard it is to start out in this business and some don't even mind helping and most have more class in the dirt under their baby toe nail then the assholes of the adult world.

I don't care if you get listed or not! The person that should care the most, is you. What are you doing to improve upon that?

What you just showed was NO CLASS AT ALL in your last post.

Suck it up. Get disciplined. Work your ass off as Greenguy has stated time and time again. The results will come. Its a numbers game.

But don't sit there and blame innocent people like me who have no alterior motives whatsoever.

Talk to senior, established and experience webmasters that won't mind if you pick their brains. They are out ther for the taking.

Misguiding your anger is not the solution. If he doesn't want to give you an account, fuck him. In my life when someone wants nothing to do with me, I move on - I consider it a favor. You should too.

Wow, then that's a pretty nasty statement. 'take your tongue out for your ass' I wish I could lick my ass. Not that I would, mind you. I don't even like it when others tongue my ass. I'm just thinking that if I could tongue my own ass I would most definately be able to suck myself and that's something I wouldn't rule out doing if I could.
