WRT "ecchi, Gabbo says it is easier to learn Chinese" Maybe, but the Japanese themselves are more ecchi, so it is more appropriate. Also The Chinese probably banned the word during the Cultural Revolution. Although since my sister's husband is Chinese, it would be more useful.

The real reason : Originally it was a pen name I used for a series of books I was writing, and at the time I was reading a lot of Manga and watching a lot of Anime videos.

I think it's easier to learn Chinese because there are only about 24 sounds.. the least of all languages.
