Tea can wire you up...

Ok so I've been down with a cold for 2 days now maybe 3 days if you include the one where my throat started to itch. Anyhow I hate being sick and its more than a year since I was last sick.

So naturally I wanted to get rid of the cold asap. Knowing that there is no cure for having a cold virus or anything I do however know that there are things that will make the illness more pleasant like tea and garlic etc...

So on the 2nd day when I felt I had enough energy to leave my house and go to the grocery store I picked up some garlic and lots of tea. So last night I made me a lasagna with 6 fats (is that how you spell it) of garlic, damn my house smelled like something out of a Turkish sharwarma LOL Anyways ate it all and drank 1½ liter of camille tea and 1 liter of green tea. This was then followed by something I can best explain as being high on weed, haha!
About 5 hours later I felt real fucking bad, my body was going nutz sweating like an insane and having headaches and shit. I tried sleeping but my body wouldn't relax so I took some sleep meds which my doc had prescribed me months ago and it worked like a charm.

When I woke up today after 14 hours of sleep I felt remarkably better, better than I had expected considering this is only the 3rd day I've been down with this cold. Normally I have like 2-3 days where my nose is dried up and snot is running out like it was a fucking fountain. There was no such things this morning. I flushed my nose out a few times but thats it. Now it's 3.30 in the morn here and I'm up doing work, I know I should be resting and get over with it but y'all know how it is... being a webmaster that is. So now I'm on my 3rd liter of tea and I'm wired... but in a good way... I guess ill take another sleeping pill tonite to fall a sleep but fuck it. This shit is making me sweat and getting me dealing with this cold a lot easier that my own immune system ever would.

Now that's my little rant for today... I'm back to work kiddos |bananna|

Tea is good. :)

I keep a bunch of different ones around both real tea and the herbal blends.

Good strong green tea has a kick like a mule. I like to slam coffee, but I'm always surprised by how strong a tea buzz can get.

I like the really high grade green tea, the loose stuff that looks like little balls of curled up leaves.

The stuff in bags is usually noxious.

I get a fine buzz from double strength cups of hi quality Jackson's darjeeling, too.

Yeah I've noticed that about the Green Tea aswell I got some really cheap shit I guess and it makes my head hurt from time to time. But overall it's ok, but I guess I should buy some finer stuff next time I go to the shop.

I vote for garlic, tea and lemon when having a cold. :)
