question about number of links
 
i was just wondering, if u have a banner with a text link under it saying click here now for trial membership are they counted as two links or just one since they are both really going to the same sponsor and they really seem to be just one advertisement

If they are both in the same anchor, I think it counts as one. If you use separate anchors then it's two.

I'm not sophisticated enough to actually have something count the links in the html, so with me, that's be one banner/ad.

Same here, no matter if it's in one or two links I count it as one. Of course if they are very far apart I might count it as two.

Same for me. A banner with a text link immediately above or below counts as one, if you separate them so that they look like two links then they're two links :)

For me, text above, below, or next to a banner will be counted as one ad.
