Awesome news :)

Nice move. I thought you guys already offered it. Epassporte is a great payment option for a lot of us; I have to drive 25 miles and pay a hefty percentage when I cash a cheque (because I don't want to wait a week for the bank to clear a U.S. cheque)

adamneve 2005-03-17 05:09 AM

so now you just have to send the traffic and get the cash ;)

Greenguy 2005-03-17 08:49 AM

Good news :)

Cleo 2005-03-17 08:55 AM

Very good news :)

Thumbler 2005-03-17 08:57 AM

It would be very good news if I had an epassporte account LOL

MrMaryLou 2005-03-17 08:57 AM

Good stuff :)

You really should get one. I got one a few months ago and have been switching my payments to them with every sponsor that offers it. No more lost checks in the mail and faster payments too.

Thumbler 2005-03-17 09:27 AM

I must admit that there have been a couple of times recently where having an epassporte account would have made things a lot easier. I just don't like the way you can't transfer money into your bank account (or at least I don't think you can) although having said that it doesn't seem to bother anybody else!

Greenguy 2005-03-17 09:29 AM

You can transfer money to & from your bank account, just like PayPal :)

Greenguy 2005-03-17 09:30 AM

...and I'll ask for Thumbler:

Adam - do you guys set up ePassporte accounts for people? :)

adamneve 2005-03-17 10:00 AM

no, we don't setup ePassporte accounts.

Thumbler 2005-03-17 12:22 PM

Doesn't look like I can set one up either :(

I did actually start to set one up yesterday but it got a bit too hard so I decided not to bother. Then when I read this today I thought maybe I should.

Unfortunately my useless bank seems to be incapable of telling me the amount of the pending payment epassporte made to validate my id until it turns into an actual payment - which of course it never will do.

Not quite sure what to do now.

My bank did ask me how much the payment was for - talk about having to bite my tongue. If I knew that I wouldn't be here you ****** ******* *****

Only if you're in the United States, currently. That's a pretty important detail. :)

It's still great for non-US webmasters, though! I use mine as a credit card and an ATM card.
