Question to the LL owners...

Do you accept submitted free sites from new submitters if they are good or must new submitters keep submitting for a month or more before they even get accepted?

Useless 2005-03-22 07:27 PM

If your sites are good, your host is good, and you don't flub or hide your whois - you should be listed pronto. There may be some lists that have a 'warming up' period, but I don't know them.

MadMax 2005-03-22 08:52 PM

Ditto, build good sites, follow the rules and they'll get listed :)

If I use whois guard protection then I won't get listed?
Can I use my real name for the first few submissions and afterwards use whois protection? I don't mind webmasters knowing my name but I think it's not necessary to let every John Doe know my real name. I have very bad experience with that in the past (2002) where I got some strange calls from another country late at night.

I dunno, but I'd be upset if I submitted a months worth of freesites, 30 freesites, and didn't get listed because of being new. I know for one, I'm happy to have new submitters, as long as they "play by the rules", everything is groovy.

Goodluck mate.

Same with me, does'nt matter if new. Long as the sites are good and follow the rules..:)

Those of us who look at your whois info won't list you. My whois info is complete, accurate, honest, and fully exposed. If some surfer wants to stop on by and meet me, so be it. They'll be sorely disappointed though, as I'm not exactly super model material.

Ditto on what Useless Warrior said.

I had to make my LL partner only because of being spammed daily by crap submits. If I like five of your samples, you are on paid hosting, and your whois is honest and open, then I will probably give you an account.

We accept new submitters without any probation. We used to get a lot of crap submissions that we had to wade through every day, but we installed a plugin that added a blacklist checkbox to the review form. It made it easy to block the submitters who keep offending and I think we're down to about a 20% rejection rate now.

Hi,
from a newbie point of view, I submited my 2nd free site to some major LLs and it got listed at hoes, LOR (still waiting on some others) and the TGP Site based on that freesite got listed at RR TGP, porn-pics-free and few others.
So, I would say it doesn't matter if you're new as long as you do quality work and play by the rules only ALWAYS.
Hei Cleo: I meet all your requirements (but only two samples)! Can I be considered for an account? I Have paid hosting and totally open whois :)
It doesn't hurt to ask ,right ;)
take care
zanex
