I'm still a bit sickly, but The Bitch says I have to go shopping with her today - we're having some more crap done to the house this year - new doors, some new windows, gutters, roof on the pool house, etc - so I have to go & pick out stuff that I really don't care about.

I was just sifting through the morning paper and noticed that Jesus is dead. When did that happen?

Another useless day here. I may shower today, but don't expect much more than that.

How could you not want to go to the home improvement store? :D

I got to go to Home Depot twice yesterday and in the end ended up calling a plumber to come unclog the main drain line to my house. He pulled a bunch of roots that were growing into the line about 90 feet from where the clean out is. I felt bad for the guy as he spent over two hours with his drain machine thing. Funny about how people tell you about their lives. He is from Chicago, been living down here for two years after his divorce. Was a druggy who enjoyed alcohol and cocaine until he was run over by a car and spent six months recovering and has been clean since. He seemed to think that I was the kindest customer every because I gave him a Coke. LOL

Now that I have three working shitters I'm planing on a day of doing the gym thing and then just working today. :)

Don't worry, a little birdy told me that he will come back alive again in a few days. He's a tough one our |buddy|

My Grandmother called just to make sure I was not going to work today. Even stuck in bed, she has to get up at least once/week to go to church. I don't get it :)

Good day to y'all. I'm going to pretend it's not really snowing here again and try to get some work done. Hope everyone's weekend is long and relaxing. :)

Mostly clear and sunny here, rumor has the temp getting over 50 by the end of the weekend, so I guess I bought my new bicycle at about the right time. I am going to try to get a little exercise on it, and hope it helps to heal what has ailed my left foot for the last year or so. Plus my girlfriend wanted me to. (do we have a pussy whipped smilie here?)

Anyway, today is hard at work day... no rest for the wicked. I have a video to re-edit (I didn't like the original cut, so I am doing it again rather than sending my client a crap video), and I have another one on the on deck circle, so I guess I will go through that one as well.

The house we lived in right before this one had that problem at least once a year. We would have to fork out $150 or so to have the guy clear the main drain.

I'm waiting 2 models to show up for a shoot. Hopefully they'll show up, but I'm never hopeful as they're usually not reliable.

Yeah about once a year I also have to pay the drain man to do this. This is the first year that I've actually seen a big chunk or roots get pulled out. This guy used a different type of machine. All the others have used the machine with the big bundle of spinning cable in front. But this guy used a machine that looked like a suitcase and he feed a coil in one end and it came out the other end as the machine twisted it. He kept on hooking more wire to it as it got feed into the pipe. Then he puled like hell as he backed the coiled wire in and out and this huge chunk of roots came out. I don't think I've ever seen the toilets flush this good in the twenty years that I've owned this house..

That's what our guy used. I looked into buying one so I could do the job myself, but then things changed and we were able to buy our new house.
