Free-Sites : Sponsor's banner before warning, recips and enter link

Greetings.

I have run over few free sites listed on some LLs with the following index page layout.

Sponsor's banner, then
warning note, then
LL's recips, then
ENTER link

Anybody knows if it is really permitted to place a sponsor's banner/textlink before warning note and before recips.

What should be first recips or warning note?

And if you count links per page (no more than 3) do you count ENTER link as one of them?

Thanks.

Banner at the top of the page is fine. No the Enter link is not counted as a link.

Surf a couple of link lists and review what other people are doing. Make sure you are looking at true free sites and sponsor hosted free sites.

This is a good question.

Do any LL's care if the recip is above or below the warning. Is it ok, as long as the recip is above the Enter link?

Here is the only restriction on the layout of and index page for a free site - enter link must come AFTER the recips and the warning. Otherwise, juggle shit around at whim. You can even put the warning to the left or right of the enter link if you wish. Just make sure the recips aren't under the enter.

Excellent advice. Shaking up the order and placement of your warning page elements is a good way to keep your sites looking fresh. As long as the recips are above the enter link you're good. :)

Maybe keep that top first banner ad somewhat mild, not to graphic as it were.

The answer lies within the question:)
"as long as the recip is above the Enter link"
