Q about recip table
 

Hi

I see that some FS's builders use recip tables with 16-20 recips. Does it mean that LL's owners changeing rules and accept FS's with more then 12 recips ?

I'm testing a 20 recip table right now that's all text, just crossing my fingers and seeing what happens. I've been accepting the larger tables of matching, formatted text recips, and I see a lot of the LLs I submit to on the tables I've been accepting, but it's a wait and see thing for me ATM :)

I use a 16+ text recip table and haven't had problems

Which rule do you think they are changing?

Ive had no problem getting listed at the 20 places i have on my 20 cell recip table :)

In fact most linklists very much enjoy it over the standard 8 because of PR and Traffic to the page will be higher.

I personally did it for those reasons, as well as cutting down on duplicate pages that google hates by having to make 4,5,6+ copies of the warning page, now i make 1, sometimes 2 if I have the time to submit to 40 places

I really like recip tables with lots of recips. :)

TEXT return tables with 16 to 20 sites are not too bad, providing the font and color doesn't make them get too insignificant on the page. Neatly done, you can get away with it.

Don't try it with 16-20 buttons.

I like clean looking tables with 10-15.

Funny this thread is very timely. Over the past week and weekend I am starting to see recip tables taking up almost 3/4 of the index page :(

I agree with MML - I am finding that my recip tables are quite large & hard to manage depending on the recips - I have started to use text recips on some of my freesites due to this, it just looks better. My only hesitation was if I would get rejected for not using the tables provided. Some recips are quite (ahem) large - and over 12 just looks like a riot is goin on...
but if everyone likes lots of recips I'm sure we'll be seeing more text on the tables. Personally I like 10-15, lets you group some smaller but promising LLs with the bigger ones.

I actually removed some of the recips from the pages I built as they were too large..Wouldn't it be nice if free site builders could impose rules...i.e a maximum size of recip.. :D

I like the 10-15 tables too.
For the obvious reasons above.
