fusker confusion.....

as i am now a bit of an expert after recently being "fuskered", i was really confused as to why established webmasters weren't familiar with fusker after attending the phoenix forum. it was really surprising to me that i had to explain how very evil fusker was...not that i mind blasting fusker. just surprised me...

however, i did manage to find more than a few people who were interested in putting together a ddos attack against them ;)

Maybe we just need more fusker threads

ami, you will be shocked at the end of the day how many webmasters are truly ignorant about many facets of their business. They are being robbed blind and they don't notice - or worse, in the case of fusker, some sponsors claim they make money letting stuff be fuskered as long as it has their URL on it.

Short sited.

Fusker may never be totally killed, but we can make it hard for them to make money. remove the money motivation, and they might just kill themselves.

Well said Alex.... I'm always surprised at answers like that. In an interview once I got a response from a fairly "big guy" in the biz that he didn't care how badly he was being cheated by known cheaters - as long as his bottom line wasn't affected, he couldn't care less....

Short sighted is right... but I like yours better - short "sited" is more accurate.
