Today is Concrete Day here at the house - the guys are out setting up forms & whatnot for the new sidewalk. Then the other guys can backfill all these holes & whatnot & this place might look like a regular old yard by July 4th :D

NFL schedules also came out yesterday, so I've got a bit of planning to do :)

Another bright and sunny day out there and my neighbor's arsoned house is being gutted like a $2 whore in a back alley. Otherwise, all is quiet on Harrison Ave.

Oh, did I tell ya I had to call the police on my cocksucking neighbors the day? Well, we're doing a shitload of spring cleaning around here and getting rid of shit we don't want and don't use. I put a bunch of baby stuff on the front lawn- stroller, car seats, diaper genie- junk like that (my youngest is 5, so that tells you how long we've been storing this crap), but I also put out some exercise equipment, an old 40 inch screen projection TV with a faded picture, and the ugliest queen sleeper couch known to man.

I came home Sunday evening to find everything except one weight bench gone. Woohoo! BUT- that ugly ass couch isn't really gone. Some cocksucker picked it up and left it three houses down on the other side of the street. |angry| Scumbag fucks. So I went to the house where it was dropped off and to another neighbor's house to find out who did it. It was my next-door neighbor! Well, it was a couple of teenagers who were visiting him, but he knew about it. (He's the one who took the TV)

Being the bastard I am, I called the police and they made the kids bring the couch back to my yard. It's the small things in life that bring me joy. I tossed it in the dumpster the next morning. I hate neighbors. Up to a year ago, this was a really quiet street.

I have to keep my lovely wife from calling the police every 3 days or so. Our neighbor lady was recently arrested at the local sprawl mart for leaving her 3 year old daughter in the car while she shopped. So now everytime my wife sees the child outside alone, she wants to call.

Anyway, I should be around all day.

I got talked onto setting up some Fruit for an old client so I'll be doing that today but it shouldn't take more then a few hours and then back home in my continuing quest to rid my backyard of decking.

It's sort of funny really. A twenty-four year old guy bought the two family house bordering me about a year ago. Because he hears how I complain about other neighbors, he's really overly considerate of me. He's a really nice guy so I explained to him the other day-if I like you when you move in, you can do anything you damn well please. If my first impression of you is bad, I'll watch your every move from the shadows of my yard and pounce on you when you stumble.

I'm going to have to go on a public relations tour to convince people that no matter how I am to a few neighbors (and a few posters) - I'm really a very nice guy. I am. |clown|

Today was a dance recital for my daughter. We had to be there for 6:30 and she was on stage at 7:30. This all after a basketball night for me which means I didn't get home until 1am of course and had to get up at 5am for this.

I'm officially retired from computer consulting but then there are those clients that I become close with over the years that I just can't seem to say no to.

This ones name is Tom and we've know each other for about 15 years now. He just started his own company and has a whole office full of brand new G5 towers and iMacs. He has most of it setup already but is having trouble with setting up a couple of things so I'm heading over there today to take care of a few things for him. I'm hosting his site for him too. hasn't been a great week for me, lost in Hockey..out of the playoffs...lost in bowling out of the playoffs.. trying to keep my brothers 2 dogs seperated, 1 male, 1 female neither fixed and the females in heat now thats fun.

My sister, 2 month old niece and her awful husband are still living at our house, they were supposed to move 2 years ago but lazyness has kept them where they are now. As much as I love kids (not in the Wacko Jacko kinda way) I get crazy from the little brat crying all day long. damn... nothing like coming home from a stressy day at work and ending up in a overcrowded house with some asshole that does nothing else but laying in the couch watching TV and a 2 month old that is in desperate need of attention. Time I kick some folks out...

Other than that it's nice and sunny outside :)

It was more of a mustard color really. ;) It was in great condition, somewhat comfortable, but horribly ugly. It would have been a great couch for a bar/lounge. I'm positive that that upholstery would have hidden most vomit and cumshot stains.
