GG LOR Alive?
 

I just went to post to GG's LOR ... the submit page returned at 500 the first time, then hung the second time...

Is it just me?

There is a minor bug in the script wait a few mins and try again :)

There was a load balancing issue on the server & we were getting sparatic internal server errors all over the place. This problem has been corrected, so if anyone got the error, please resubmit the site if you haven't already :)

I'm still getting timeouts on the submit. :(

That evil night!

It even broke my submits to Richards where I'm getting 1k hits per gallery on the first day...sigh 5k uniques lost....and Smut Gremlins another 4k...hell even megaporn was having cgi errors that night..another 4k

I submitted here with a SITE that same night, but Cleo turned me down that same night for my mistakes...
I'm not sure if I got rejected here or you never got it...the site had flash buttons to enter and exit, and then a bad link back to itself in the quick fix.

And though I had a nice ay..Microsoft just gave me full versions of server2003,office2003,sharepoint2003,onenote2003,mssql2002,exchange2003, and a few others for attending their all day tech briefing |bananna|

Are you getting "no dns" errors or "500 internal server" errors? (there's a big difference)

Neither. When I submit pull up the email.html, all is good. When I hit submit, it's submitting [or trying] to an IP address. It never finds the IP... so it times out.

I'll have MML swap out the IP for the domain name today - we had the IP in there when we moved to make sure the submits went to the proper admin. Hopefully that'll fix the problem :)

Well, I'm still not connecting. I can telnet to port 80 and POST and GET, but both IE and Safari have issues.

So, I thought, let's try "links" [successor to lynx, a text based web browser]. Socket error.

So, I thought, maybe my IP is blocked. I logged into my server and tried from there [via links]. It came up with a 500.

It's been a few months since I've submitted to you. That's what I get for waiting! ;)

Very strange - I know I'm not blocking any IP's from the site itself (I can & do black IP's from submitting, but you'd never get an error on the site if that was the case)

I have no clue what the problem is :(

Do you have acdcess to another computer on a different ISP maybe that you could try & submit form there?
