When did PenisBot include rel="nofollow" for listings?

Links with rel="nofollow" don't get any PR passed on.

Oh I see they are only using it for the front page ;)

Yes, we decide to follow more PR to categories, where all listed sites have more stable listings (and outgoing PR). This is why we add "nofollow" to the index page. I don't want to lost all PR on the first page, splitting it with 50 random links per month, (1/3 of them is our paysites affiliate links). Better share more PR with categories.

I don't know how google will consider this experiment, may be they split PR by all links on the page and after just don't distribute it by "nofollow" links. In this case it doesn't metter, used "nofollow" or not. In both cases PR distributed to the categories will be the same, but I hope google drop links with "nofollow" before PR calculation and distribution.

should be a good decision for your site Kit, also evaluated this method for my site but found out that it won't benefit the sites of my submitters and ******.com - so I didn't set up a "nofollow". |thumb

I would advise against it...let the spiders do their work. There is no point in putting up barriers to spider the inside of your site. That's just my 2 cents tho...

I'm not sure also. But try to understand, how google work with "nofollow" tag.

The links are still followed by the bots, but the links don't count for PR.
