How to see your PR changes

I know this has been posted somewhere - couldn't find it so I figured for those of you using the Google toolbar and wanting to see the PR update on www-sj datacenter before they migrate over completely:

In Windows - got to the windows/system32/drivers/etc directory and find the file names hosts
Open the file using notepad and add a line to the file
216.239.37.100 toolbarqueries.google.com and save the file

make sure there aren't other entries for the toolbarqueries in the file or if there is you can comment them out using #

now you will have to restart your IE browser to allow the toolbar to do its queries from the -sj datacenter. When you want to switch back - just comment out the entry as above and restart IE

Now if only Google will update their rankings and stop reverting back to old cache pages!

Very nice info, thanks.

While I'm too lazy to go actually do it at the moment it was one of those posts that gets saved to a text file because I know I'm going to need it one day. :)
