It's not so much used as 'surplus to requirements'. People buy a trade script or two and then for whatever reason no longer need it, so they sell the license.

As far as I understand it's a script which is only installed by the provider, and in any case they charge an server move fee - hence a move of a license from one owner to the next would be considered a new license! I'm sure you'll first have to work something out with TarPy...

Script owners charge a licence and/or server move fee. You usually get an upgrade to the latest version as well, so you aren't really selling the script, just the licence.

For example Tim charges $100 to move UCJ, and the "second hand" value of the licence is between $350 and $400. So you save $100-$150 if you can find someone that is selling.
