This is not the easiest thing for me to say after seven years, but I wish you all well in the future, and it looks like our final farewell has arrived.

Good luck everyone, and best wishes in your future endeavours,

Never heard of them. What's their url? Maybe they have some deals on.

Kinky 2005-04-21 08:07 AM

always sad to see someone go out of business.... but I smell a content sale coming up

Raven 2005-04-21 08:12 AM

Gabe's a real good guy....and he tried very hard. I had good dealings with him. Sorry to see this happening.

definitely one of my best content sources...this is too bad, Gabe is a very good guy to deal with.
going to be hard to find a replacement [sigh] :(

Ramster 2005-04-21 09:23 AM

Thanks Useless Warrior and Docholly ;)

Unless I misread the page it looks like he only sold/sells to paysite owners - that must have been somewhat limiting to saythe least. I was going to look to see what was on offer, but the site makes it 'too hard' so I didn't bother :(

I purchased single sets from him...it's set up by niche, then model -takes a bit of hunting but there is/was some good pics & the price was right :)
hopefully he will stay online till the end & offer some deals

Yep, I've got some Garill content on my drives too...very nice stuff.

Really is too bad he's pulling up stakes :(

I'm with the others in hoping he has some closing deals...he definitely has some nice content...even though you do have to search for it a bit :)

Rocco 2005-04-21 10:51 AM

yeah, this is really a pitty - was very good price/quality ratio

RawAlex 2005-04-21 11:42 AM

It's a pity - but I would say that his very restrictive access policy hurt his business tremendously. I wouldn't go through the process as required to even LOOK at some of the content for sale. I know that content providers don't want to be free sites with tons of users cruising around but if I can't even see generally what you are selling without handing over personal info (and requiring that info to match whois records? HELLO?)... me thnks his business practices limited his potential somewhat.

That's too bad! ... good company to deal with and I loved being able to grab just a couple of images from a set.

I think Gabe is talented and I would like to see him become very successful. Perhaps he is in another venture.

You're right RawAlex. I purchase a lot content and his policies were too restrictive to get me to even shop. Perhaps if he refrained from comments on another board, made his lisense less restrictive and invited customers this would have been far more profitable for him.

I wish you luck Gabe.

Sorry to hear that about Gabe.. Well good luck man !!

Wizzo 2005-04-24 11:04 AM

Looks like a another case of mis-directed energy, from best I can tell from his site, he was more interested in preventing people looking at his content and stopping spammers, than actually selling content... ;)

priest 2005-04-25 02:48 AM

Gabe is a great guy. I have nothing but praise for him. I bought lots of content from him during the years. His pic-o-matic system was great :)

Gabe, wish you good luck with your future projects.

Computer nearly crached from the pop-up hell I got when trying to exit his site. Or was that just me?

spazlabz 2005-04-25 08:33 AM

we have been using them for years (with my other businesses) and have always enjoyed doing business with them. Its sad to see them have to do this. top notch peeps, right up there with Ounique in my book

Sid 2005-04-25 11:04 AM
