Went to the zoo (boring zoo pics)
 

First time I've been back to Metro Zoo since hurricane Andrew destroyed it over ten years ago. It's a lot smaller and has a lot less animals then before the hurricane.

We went on a weekday figuring that there wouldn't be a lot of people there, wrong. It must have been some kind of school field trip day since there was hundreds of annoying young humans all over the place ages about eight and up screaming and doing what kids do best, being annoying.

Didn't stay long, only a few hours as between the kids and the afternoon heat it all became a bit much but we did see it all, at least what has been rebuilt.

it was field trip day here at the center too - must have been 4 different tours of the data center with 20-30 people each.

Time travel is part of the new Tiger release (Mac OS X 10.4) that I'm running a prerelease of. The real version comes out next week and I hear that it dispenses two types of intoxicating fluids if you write real creative.

I can't help it if when you come to town all you want to do is go have clandestine meetings with my neighbor to have kinky sex.

Our local zoo has things like house cats... dogs.... rats...... and a planetarium.

Its quite small. :)

Its not really that bad, but, not really a very entertaining zoo. We do have Lion Country Safari nearby though and that is quite nice.

I haven't been to Lion Country Safari since I was a kid in the back of my parent's station wagon.

I've been thinking of doing Bush Gardens again, haven't been there in over ten years as well. I also want to go to the new Parrot Jungle on Watson Island. I loved the old Parrot Jungle, I hear that this one is a lot smaller but still worth going to. Last time I went to Watson Island was back when the Goodyear Blimp used to dock there and gave rides. I took my younger bother on the blimp when he was a child. I also used to visit the Japanese gardens that was there, not sure if there are still there or not.

This year I'm trying to do things and not do nothing but sit at the computer all day.

I did take a Russian lesbian to the zoo with me…

i am forched to visite different zoo's a year because my kids love them:D so to have fun there i like the zoo to:D
