yeah I seen that when I checked my stats and I hope most all go that route and maybe it will put more money in our hands instead of the spammers getting it..
|
I agree and I for one am glad the wegcash took this stance. Its just a matter of time before the others get around to doing it for sure. |bananna|

yeah, life is getting hard for the email spammers :)
|
Great news - at this rate porn will be more respectable than banking.
Well they've got 6 letters in common already. :) |
We have always declined email spam...its the affiliate who owns and operates the sites who get the heat and not worth it...
If one company wants to be here in the long run shouldnt accept affiliate spamming mail...email spam is a serious issue. |

Yeah, but I have noticed that more and more spammers are promoting the same or similar products, and that has got to be playing havoc on their bottom line. As it becomes less profitable, some of them may move on to more honest lines of work, like muggings and stealing checks from retired people.

WEGcash is still paying me for signups for their email programme. :)

RE: "Well they've got 6 letters in common already." Don't confuse the Americans :)

Wegcash.....
I still use them, still like them.... but has anyone else noticed their conversion ratios drastically dropping with that program? I have had a few webmasters tell me in the wegcash forum that their ratios have gotten really bad as well. Any feedback on that? Thanks |
good to see that move

Most sponsors have always "said" they wont take e-mail spam, at least in their TOS. My question is, how many actually stand up to their policies? Or are these new announcements meaning they REALLY wont take spam..:)

"SPAM" has always been unacceptable at most sponsors. This newer wave includes *all* email promotion, legal email marketing OR illegal (spam).
One big problem is how easily people refer to anything received in their email box as "spam", instead of using the legal definition. So this isn't just a new fancy form that you have to click, it's an entire seperate and further step to protect sponsors. |
RE: "instead of using the legal definition" - There is a legal definition of "spam"? Jeez, the word started as a geek word stolen from a sketch on a cult British comedy show, and now it has got a legal definition! What next, a legal definition of sex ? ("No, your honour, my client is still a virgin. Although she has had sex with several men the penis only ever penetrated her by a maximum of 5.3 inches, and as you are aware, it has to penetrate by a minimum of 5.63 inches to be legally defined as "sex".)
