Blogger is driving me crazy.
 

I've been a devoted user of blogger since March of 2001 (for http://tastytrixie.com/blog), but the past few months have sucked so hard with them I'm thinking about switching to wordpress.

This Wired article is a couple weeks old, but gives an idea of what bloggers have been plagued with lately:

Ugh. Anyone else going crazy over this? |angry| I have over ten blogs, and with their outages and bullshit am hardly ever able to update.

The million dollar question is, will it be worth it to wait out blogger's growing pains?

I have a couple 'experimental' blogs hosted at blogger.com. Its been difficult even writing to it. Very frustrating as a whole.

Unless blogger is giving you some serious traffic for using their software, or you're hosted there and dont want to risk losing any surfers etc, I'd consider the switch.

Riding it out is always a possibility though. :) Nothing wrong with loyalty!

I cant imagine 10 blogs. that sounds hard as hell. :)

but um, emmanuaelle! I'm so glad you're doing well with yours. What are you using to keep track fo bookmarks? email me if you've got something i can use!

Nothing special, we're just including the blog into an shtml page, and track our stats on that.
